Holidays to the Middle East are becoming increasingly popular and it’s easy to see why. From lavish 5* hotels, white sand beaches, decadent dining and a vast choice of attractions, holidays to the Emirates appeal to both couples and families. Desert experiences including camel rides, quad biking, world class shopping, thrilling water parks and world class golf courses are just some of the attractions on offer.

Dubai is home to Palm Jumeirah, the palm tree shaped island which can be seen from Space, where you will find luxurious resorts including the infamous Atlantis with its fabulous water park and the stunning Atlantis the Royal. Madinat Jumeirah is also a popular spot and lined with excellent hotels, such as the iconic wave-like Jumeirah Beach and the new Marsa Al Arab.

Abu Dhabi is the capital of the Emirates and the beaches at Saadiyat Island are renowned as some of the best in the world. It is also home to Yas Island offering top attractions including Ferrari World and the Grand Prix which is held late November/early December.

Customer Care Alert – Travel to or via the Middle East

We are closely monitoring the developing situation in Iran and the impact it is having on airspace throughout the Middle East. Airspace throughout the UAE and Middle Eastern region has been closed until 11pm GMT today, with further disruption likely to continue until 3 March.

Airlines are still updating their guidance, and information remains limited. Our priority right now is to support customers who are due to travel within the next 72 hours, as they are most immediately impacted.

To help us assist those travellers as quickly as possible, we kindly ask customers travelling on or after 4 March not to call at this time. This allows our teams to focus on those whose travel plans are most urgent.

We understand this is a worrying situation, and our thoughts are with everyone affected by the events in the Middle East. We will continue to share updates as soon as they become available.
